Jovi is the only child her age who lives at the Pokémon HQ Lab in Orre and is often bored, lonely, and understimulated because of this. She tries to pretend that she is much more mature than she is, and often acts very condescending towards anyone who isn't an adult, but especially towards her older brother Michael. She is 'home schooled' by several of the scientists and researchers at the lab. She gets most of her schooling in the evening both because it's when the adults often have more free time, and because they've found it's easier for her to pay attention and not get distracted once she's tired herself out a bit/ Though she has a friend or two her age in the nearby Gateon Port, their schedules often do not line up and she sees them rather infrequently unless her friends are on a school break.She can often be a bit bossy and impatient, but she really is just a lonely little girl looking for friends to have fun with. Her go-to game is often hide and seek, often announcing that she's going to play it without anyone in the lab actually agreeing to play with her. Sometimes she will hide for hours and hours until someone realizes she's still missing and has to go look for her. This may be her go-to as a cry for attention as a way of forcing others to play with her.

The only pokemon scott seems to have on him at all times, Scott met Wynaut while getting lost traveling and winding up on mirage island. Prior to this he'd been a big fan of pokemon and pokemon battles, but had never caught any of his own. Wynaut often helps Scott catch pokemon to raise into rental pokemon by making them unable to flee, and his moves are useful for testing pokemons' strengths for evaluation purposes.

An immortal mythical pokemon who has the mysterious power to grant wishes. They do not see much use in this power themselves, but find joy in the gratitude people offer them when Jirachi grants their own wishes. As such they are likely to fulfill most wishes asked of them, although this may sometimes result in unforeseen consequences, especially if improperly worded. Jirachi sleeps for hundreds if not thousands of years at a time, and is often clueless to social norms or common phrases/words. Regardless of whether they grant a wish 'correctly' they will expect and eagerly await gratitude, and become a bit upset when no thanks is given.

Capable of incredible healing abilities and the ability to travel through (and send people/objects through) time, she is often sought after by people who want to make use of her abilities. due to this, she prefers to exist in times of peace, as humanity's demands are often lesser during these periods. She can, much to her own dismay, be summoned to any time by someone in possession of a time flute. In general, she acts a bit like a sassy teenage girl (think tinkerbell, almost) and she is very tired of people bothering her and/or chasing after her for their own needs and wants.

Meowth is rude to everyone by default but tends to be bit less so to pokemon, especially wild ones. While he doesn’t necessarily dislike Pokemon who have trainers, it’s hard for Meowth to connect with them- he dislikes being thought of as owned or tamed by any human, so there's a bit of subconscious resentment towards pokemon that accept that as part of their life and identity. He has a tendency to be especially argumentative when pokemon talk fondly of the relationships they have with their trainers as a coping mechanism, subconsciously wanting to be both feared by and accepted by humans as an equal at the same time.Despite the trio's general long-term goal being taking Pikachu from Ash and delivering him to Giovanni, Meowth doesn't necessarily care to complete this himself. Meowth is typically more interested in making money and committing petty crime- he simply wants to do whatever he feels will get him to that goal the fastest.
